Senior Geophysicist
Jelena Hogan has worked in both the Canadian and International oil and gas industries for 12 years, after earning a B.Sc in Geophysics from the University of Calgary in 1998.
Jelena has very diverse experience as a geophysical interpreter. She has worked for Nexen Inc. and Petro-Canada in both development and exploration roles, focusing on projects in South Central Alberta, Northeast BC, Southeast Saskatchewan, offshore East Coast Canada, and Yemen.
This diverse technical and geographic experience has enabled Jelena to apply and hone advanced interpretation techniques such as depth conversion, AVO, seismic inversion, attribute analysis and fault/fracture detection methods. These skills have been translated into many development exploration successes in various large scale and technically challenging development projects.
