
Project Geophysicist
Sean Norgard is a senior interpretation geophysicist with over 17 years of exploration and development experience. Since graduating from the University of Calgary in 1993 with a BSc in Geophysics he has worked for numerous large and small Canadian oil and gas companies, including Norcen Energy, PennWest Petroleum, Advantage Oil and Gas and Wave Energy.
Sean has broad experience across much of the Western Canadian Sedimentary basin, including SW Saskatchewan, Eastern Alberta, Central Alberta and the Peace River Arch. He has been involved in literally hundreds of drilled wells, and has had many significant successes exploiting untapped reserves, extending existing pools, and generating new prospects.
Sean brings proven technical expertise in 2D and 3D seismic interpretation, acquisition and processing, as well as strong fundamental skills in geology and petroleum engineering. He has worked in consulting roles for the last 6 years, and has a good reputation for meeting and often exceeding client’s expectations.
